Newton said: "Gravity is that nostalgia in things to become spheres." I have always loved that quote. To me it means that, over time, given enough interaction with external (and internal, to be sure) forces, things have a way of working themselves round; the center finds itself no farther from any surface.

In one of Henry Jaglom's films (Last Summer In The Hamptons???), Andre Gregory plays this really wise dude and there's this big garden party going and and and and the camera pans to Gregory's character and he's explaining to a couple of folks just how life goes and he says something like, "Sure....if you look at your life as a rock with all the contours that natures dumps you into life with, and you go look at life as a process of smoothing and smoothing and smoothing you, just about the time you get all nice and smooth.........you die."

I love that. Becoming human is just that. And I am loving the ride.....
