Sir Isaac Nude-Ton

Newton said: "Gravity is that nostalgia in things to become spheres." I have always loved that quote. To me it means that, over time, given enough interaction with external (and internal, to be sure) forces, things have a way of working themselves round; the center finds itself no farther from any surface.

In one of Henry Jaglom's films (Last Summer In The Hamptons???), Andre Gregory plays this really wise dude and there's this big garden party going and and and and the camera pans to Gregory's character and he's explaining to a couple of folks just how life goes and he says something like, "Sure....if you look at your life as a rock with all the contours that natures dumps you into life with, and you go look at life as a process of smoothing and smoothing and smoothing you, just about the time you get all nice and die."

I love that. Becoming human is just that. And I am loving the ride.....

The PEZ Chopper

Mr Fabulous, this is for you.

Carrying That Weight.....

In order to commemorate the newly acquired sense of gravity in my life, I submit the following ode---two renditions---to help make sense of the great big pull toward that omnipresent center (the heart of things, as it were, broken or not), the still point around which everything turns while, in theory, remaining itself unmoved.

The first rendition is how I feel.

The second rendition is how I FEEL.

Mr. Fab: I promise---Pez to follow. After all, it's all about the Pez now isn't it?

"Repetition creates presence."

Okay, these are just some pictures taken with a camera. It was daylight at the time each was taken. The pictures are of images, but I am not going to tell you what they are of. Or of what they are, either. You will have to guess. Good luck. The winner gets to play one of Cindra's word games. Good luck again. You will need it.

The plane is a 1962 Cessna 182E. Engine is a stock Continental O-470-R. Just in case you were wondering.

You Cruise, You Lose

Went on a cruise. No, not TOM Cruise. A real, live love boat kind of cruise. It was fun. I recommend it. But what I don't recommend is bringing a fiancee along who, two days before the cruise ends, tells you that her love has. Oh well.....this is a report, not a pity pitch. Just an update. Okay, okay! I'M CRUSHED!!!! All things happen for their own reason known only to them and not for us to know but that's the reason and all things happen for that. See? But I digress. Where was I? Oh yeah. The cruise. Set some dough aside and hop on a reallllly big boat and experience the very reason Osama Bin Laden hates us so much. Yes, I did truly and actually feel guilty blowing a chunk of cash on myself. But ya know what? I got dumped. So now I feel better. Real better. Now all I need to do is go and buy that puppy. The advantage of posting prior to the acquisition of the canine unit, is that you can put in your order and, if you are chosen, I will get the puppy that YOU want. Have at 'er.....
